California State University-Northridge
California State University-Northridge is located in the suburban San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. The large campus was significantly impacted by the 1994 Northridge earthquake, leading to extensive reconstruction. CSUN is a Hispanic-serving institution with a diverse student body and a focus on master's level programs. The university is also home to the National Center on Deafness and hosts a major annual conference on technology and disability.
Financial Aid
The sticker price is rarely what families actually pay. CSU Northridge's grant and scholarship aid lowers the net price for most income brackets. 56% of students receive Pell Grants; 23% take federal loans.
