Northwestern State University of Louisiana
Northwestern State University's main campus is located in Natchitoches, Louisiana, with additional campuses for nursing and general studies in other cities. The university is home to the Louisiana Scholars' College, the state's designated honors college for liberal arts and sciences. Uniquely, the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, a state-supported residential high school, is also located on the campus. NSU was also one of the first six colleges to participate in NASA's Joint Venture Program, offering students opportunities to collaborate with NASA scientists.
