University of Missouri-St Louis
The UMSL campus is located on the former grounds of a country club, spanning multiple municipalities in St. Louis County. While historically a commuter school, UMSL has invested in campus improvements including residential housing and a performing arts center. The university houses the St. Louis Mercantile Library, the oldest library west of the Mississippi River, and operates St. Louis Public Radio. Students can easily access the campus via two stops on the regional light rail system.
