Southern University Law Center

Southern University Law Center is located in Baton Rouge as part of the Southern University System. As a historically Black college, it fosters a diverse and inclusive environment. A distinctive aspect of the Law Center is its focus on both Louisiana civil law and the common law found in other states. Students can also pursue a joint JD and MPA degree through a partnership with the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.
