Samuel Merritt University's main campus is located in Oakland, California, with additional facilities throughout the state. As a health sciences focused university, the student body is dedicated and career oriented. The university distinguishes itself as the only institution in the East Bay that provides training in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant programs. It is also the largest source of nurses in the region.
