The Culinary Institute of America's main campus is located in Hyde Park, New York, on the site of a former Jesuit novitiate. Students are immersed in a food-focused environment, learning culinary techniques from a large staff of certified master chefs. A distinctive aspect of the CIA experience is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in student-run restaurants, located on each of its campuses.
